Give the business a visual system the team can use.
A product diagram is clear in the engineering source but unreadable in the sales presentation. Simplifying it may help the audience, yet removing a connection or changing a label could alter the meaning. We design technical and commercial material around the approved explanation and the reviewer who can authorize any substantive change.
Set the boundary of the design work
For a fictional supplier, select one approved diagram and its intended question: what should a buyer understand before requesting the product? Record the source revision and responsible product or qualified technical reviewer. We can improve hierarchy, type, spacing and accompanying explanation without inventing missing dimensions or inferring a product claim from appearance.
Some apparent presentation edits need another decision. Combining symbols, dropping a relationship or shortening a technical label can change the message. Flag those changes for the appointed reviewer rather than treating visual approval as technical approval.
Choose the formats before redrawing everything
A paid first scope can produce one website treatment, a presentation version and an agreed accessible explanation or download. On a phone, a readable summary and properly labelled detailed document may serve the task better than a tiny image of the entire source. A full identity redesign remains a separate choice if the existing brand already supports the material.
Agree the editable originals, export sizes, revision rounds and usage instructions. Supplied illustrations, fonts and photography need suitable rights. Design does not establish trademark clearance or a right to make professional performance claims.
Approve the version people will actually see
Review the website, slide and reduced campaign version together. Ask an unfamiliar reader to explain the intended relationship, then ask the technical reviewer whether the meaning remains accurate. A later crop or resized export must not remove a condition or make an illustrative diagram look like evidence for every product variant.
Bring the approved source, intended uses and the person who can resolve an unclear label. The proposal can cover the focused diagram set, wider campaign assets or a coherent visual identity, with those choices made explicitly. Our technical-diagram note helps prepare the review boundary and the final-format checks.
